About Our Family

In 2007, our son, Lake, the inspiration for Lake's Mountain Organics, was born. At the time I owned Colorado Canines, a successful and fun little retail store in downtown Boulder, Colorado, that catered to our community dogs and cats that quickly became known for our commitment to the best in all natural pet nutrition and knowledgeable customer service.

Soon after Lake was born, I quickly realized he was my new passion. After years of scrutinizing ingredient labels on dog and cat food, as well as ingredient labels on foods for our family, I found that I was as passionate about finding baby products with the best all-natural and organic ingredients. I saw that there was a real need to have an all-natural and organic body care line for babies and kids that did not compromise on quality, or the ingredients that went into it. That is how Lake's Mountain Organics got started. One passion leads to another.

I am a mom, volunteer and a business woman that still gets to do what I love.
